How it is made
Shims are laser-cut or stamped from precision cold-rolled strip to the drawing, in flat, slotted, U-type or laminated peelable form. Laminated peelable shims are bonded from calibrated foil layers that peel away to reach a target thickness for fine adjustment. Thickness tolerance, flatness and edge condition are controlled to the drawing; material, thickness and tolerance are confirmed per order.
