Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between single and double deflection grilles?

Single deflection has one set of adjustable blades (one-plane throw); double deflection adds a second perpendicular set for full horizontal and vertical air-pattern control.

Can grilles be supplied with volume control dampers?

Yes — an opposed-blade damper (OBD) can be fitted behind the grille and adjusted through the face; this is called a register.

Which material should I choose?

Extruded aluminium is standard; powder-coated GI/CRCA suits economy projects and stainless 304/316 suits cleanrooms, kitchens and coastal or corrosive areas.

What free area do egg-crate grilles offer?

Egg-crate cores give high free area (typically 90%+), making them ideal for return and exhaust applications.

What finishes are available?

Powder coating in any RAL shade, anodized aluminium, mill finish or stainless 2B/brushed.

Scope of Work

The grilles scope can include project review, fabrication support, dimensional coordination, inspection documentation and dispatch support for industrial installations.
